UNDERGRADUATE ENGINEERING PROGRAMMES
Admission to Undergraduate Engineering programmes may be obtained through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) examination and selection process, or through the Management Admission process.
Eligibility Criteria: CET Admission Process
Students should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the languages, and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science. In case of SC/ST and OBC (Cat-1,2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B category) students from Karnataka, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40%.
Student should have cleared the entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka – KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test)
Eligibility Criteria: Management Admission Process
Students should have passed II PUC / 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the Languages, and obtained a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry / Bio- Technology / Biology /Electronics /Computer Science.
Student should have cleared any one of the Entrance Tests conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka or Govt. of India (KCET,COMEDK, AMPCK, AIEEE)
- Karnataka Common Entrance Test
- Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority Examination
- All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE)
- Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK)
Note:It is mandatory for students seeking admission through the Management Admission process, to undergo an online test in the campus.
B.E Lateral Entry: CET Admission Process
Students should have passed Diploma or equivalent examination as recognized by the University, and secured not less than 45% marks in the final year examination (fifth and sixth semesters), in the appropriate branch of Engineering. In case of SC/ST and OBC Students from Karnataka, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40%.
Students should have cleared the Entrance Test conducted by the Govt. of Karnataka (DCET – Diploma Karnataka Common Entrance Test).
POST-GRADUATE ENGINEERING PROGRAMMES
Admission to HKBKCE Post-graduate programmes may be obtained through the Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) examination and selection process, or through the Management Admission process.
Eligibility Criteria: PGCET Admission process
MTech
Students should have a Bachelor Degree in the appropriate branch with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
Qualifying Entrance Test (Either option):
1. GATE
2. PG-CET
POST-GRADUATE MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS(MBA)
Admission to HKBKCE Post-graduate programmes may be obtained through the Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) examination and selection process, or through the Management Admission process.
Eligibility Criteria:
Students should have a Bachelor Degree from a recognized University, with not less than 50% (Management Admission: 60%) aggregate marks. In case of students from Karnataka belonging to SC/ST and Category – I, the aggregate shall not be less than 45%.
Note:A student seeking admission through the Management Admission process, should have cleared any one of the examinations below:

– Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT)
– CAT (Scores)
– XAT (Scores)
– MAT Scores
