They also work in the laboratory to perform tests and analysis of various samples, evaluation of possible donors, and maintenance of large records.
    • Medical Record Technician: The Medical Record Technician maintains the medical records ensuring the compliance with policies and procedures, initiation of medical records by searching the master patient index together with reporting required changes and routing records to emergency departments for ensuring availability of a medical record.

Segmentation, classifying, and 3D data reconstruction of data images comprise some of the constituent activities of medical image analysis.
    • X-ray Technician: An X-ray technologist develops a clear picture that is utilized by the physician to ascertain the condition the patient is suffering from. They are responsible for taking images with X-ray machines that could show suspected injuries and diseases.
    • CT Scan Technologists: A CT scan technologist deals with the advanced form of CT scans where they conduct scanning of the internal organs of a patient, producing cross-section images in order to detect health issues.
